KizunaGo Platform — A MinnaPortal Initiative

Welcome to KizunaGo, a free educational platform dedicated to Japanese language learning, cultural integration, and the development of foreign communities connected to Japan.

KizunaGo is an initiative of MinnaPortal, an online news portal, business hub, and community platform focused on foreigners living in Japan.

By accessing, registering, or using the platform, the User agrees to these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Consent.

1. Parties Involved

1.1. KizunaGo

KizunaGo is a free digital educational platform designed to provide Japanese language learning, multimedia content, cultural integration, and educational support for foreign learners.

1.2. MinnaPortal

MinnaPortal is responsible for the KizunaGo initiative and operates as an online hub for news, information, business, and communities aimed at foreign residents in Japan.

1.3. User

A User is any individual who accesses, registers, or uses the services provided by the platform.

1.4. Partners

Partners include companies, organizations, institutional supporters, and collaborators that assist with the technical, operational, institutional, or financial maintenance of the project.

2. Free and Universal Access

KizunaGo is a free and universally accessible platform.

There are no access restrictions based on the number of devices used by the User. Access through multiple personal devices is permitted, provided that the User complies with the appropriate use rules of the platform.

KizunaGo reserves the right to implement technical measures to prevent fraud, abuse, malicious automated access, or any use that may compromise service stability.

3. Educational Purpose

KizunaGo aims to:

• facilitate Japanese language learning;
• support the cultural integration of foreigners;
• promote access to information;
• encourage multicultural communication;
• develop practical content for everyday life in Japan.

The content provided on the platform is intended for educational, informational, and learning support purposes.

4. Use of Technology and Artificial Intelligence

Some multimedia content, educational materials, translations, voices, images, and digital resources made available by KizunaGo may be produced with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The User acknowledges that such resources are used exclusively for educational, informational, and accessibility purposes.

5. Storage of Materials

Materials, documents, videos, files, handouts, and content provided by the platform may be temporarily or permanently stored on the User’s personal devices for later study and individual educational use.

Commercial reproduction, improper redistribution, or unlawful use of the materials provided is prohibited.

6. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

By registering on the platform, the User authorizes KizunaGo and MinnaPortal to collect and process information necessary for:

• platform operation;
• content personalization;
• sending communications;
• service improvement;
• development of new features;
• technical support;
• institutional and promotional communication.
